A pessimist and an undercover pisshead bitter about the faults inherent in reality. A hopeless romantic that's been worn away by those she loves. I got it eventually at a cafe nero of all places... Dont think it continues- back of the book only has 5 book names on it. Will have to go back to stealing books from friends when they are not looking.
The Independent is certainly better than the Times if only because it does not have Murdoch sodomising approval before publication. more…
A few years ago,back in the days when I owned a car, I gave a dim, atypically introverted Australian a lift back form Somerset to London. He spent the whole journey bemoaning the illogicality of Brits for driving on the left and standing on the right on Tube escalators. He never explained why it mattered.
Dam, you got the free book. spent all my lunchbreak looking for todays. People had stolen the book from every paper I saw, cant believe people cant spend the 90p.
Just really glad I got the George Orwell yesterday- could not find it in any bookstore for the past few months.
