This sends shivers down my spine and is the most Psychotic comment I have ever read .

I can't imagine anyone trying to kill you for your hair. Why would they try?
If they did, they were useless at their craft. Killing is very easy, as are words.
London is not, and never was, the centre of the universe. more…

That is good advice,
I would use poisonous frogs instead with the wine- they are reuasble, cost-effective and provide something to stare at afterwards as you lie in a cold shower for 5 hours sweating your ass off with beads of jelly beans.. more…

A superb critique, which warns me not to go close to this film (I was getting tired of the movies I have seen lately in any case), without any disrespect for the subject itself. Almost makes one want to go out and do the film as it should be done. Bravo! Your view is a pleasure to read! more…

My little piranha? That actually sounds a little sinister...
Do you know how I deal with sinister folk? I give them a deranged stare then, affecting a deaf accent, burble, 'IT PUTS THE LOTION IN THE BASKET!'
That way, they know I might just get them first.

I got it eventually at a cafe nero of all places... Dont think it continues- back of the book only has 5 book names on it. Will have to go back to stealing books from friends when they are not looking.
The Independent is certainly better than the Times if only because it does not have Murdoch sodomising approval before publication. more…

It's a shame you didn't get Hangover Square (yesterday's book) cos it's really good. Do you think the offer continues next week?
I thought The Independent was shit until I started buying The Times...The headlines above are all true though I can hardly believe them myself!

If your Times to you

Or you'll sink like a stone

I thought this particular post purile and trite - nothing compared to your usual verbosity. I shall expect better of you next time.
Having said that, I did smirk at one point. I don't mean to be overly critical, I'm just trying to attract attention. more…

A few years ago, back in the days when I owned a car, I gave a dim, atypically introverted Australian a lift back form Somerset to London. He spent the whole journey bemoaning the illogicality of Brits for driving on the left and standing on the right on Tube escalators. He never explained why it mattered.
Perhaps this guy was a distan more…
